Visit with friends

We went up to Rachael's house last weekend to hang out with our best group of friends. It was awesome to see all of our kids outside and playing together.

Olivia was driving Jackson around in the Jeep and I think he thought that was pretty cool.

At one point I saw Jackson up on this stool and I knew I hadn't put him there. I had a pretty good feeling that no one else had either. I asked around and confirmed that he had climbed up on his own! (His clothes were in the dryer after pouring an entire bottle of water over himself)

New lens

I got a new lens for my camera.  One that zooms in a little more than the ones I had.  I was hoping for a little more clarity too but so far it's the same as my other two.

Raffe came over to visit while Kristen went to a baby shower.

M&J can both ride the swings like big kids now.  I didn't expect them to be able to really hold on yet but they do a great job.

Beach day 2

Nahant Beach was our destination this past week.  It wasn't overly warm and mostly cloudy.  There was a huge storm just to the south which made for a pretty cool looking sky.  There were times that you couldn't even see the horizon...the sky just blended right into the ocean.

Our trip was delayed by a short trip to the ER for Jackson.  When he woke up that morning his entire right calf was red and swollen.  I knew he had two mosquito bites in that area from two nights previous.  I called the dr and they said they couldn't get us in right away so we took him to the ER near us that we know is never crowded.  By the time we got there one of the bites had blistered and burst.  The dr said it was totally infected put cream on it and a bandaid gave us a rx for ceflex and we were on our way to the beach.










This wave had just crashed into Jackson when he wasn't expecting it.  He came crying to me after.

Last Friday Alice came over to visit while her mom Melanie went to a dentist appointment.

Jackson was trying to impress her with his kitty holding skills.  He's been picking her up a lot lately.  He absolutely loves to hold her.  Luckily she is extremely tolerant.

She even doesn't mind when he lays on top of her like a stuffed animal.

Alice wasn't overly impressed.  She sat on one place for about an hour until she finally warmed up.  Even then she was so well behaved.  She just walked slowly back and forth from the kitchen to the playroom.

OMG!!!

First thing this morning Madison Elena peed on the potty!!!!!!!  She sat on her little potty.  I told her to stay right there and I was going to go get a book.  When I got back there was pee in there!!!  The poor thing didn't know what to think of my excitement.  She almost looked upset.  I poured the pee in the toilet and let her flush it.  Then she was excited.  I didn't expect that I would be so proud that I would cry.  She's such a big girl!!

We called Nana right away to tell her because I knew she would be so excited and she was.  Then we called Grandma but she didn't answer her phone so we called Daddy at work.
