York's Wild Kingdom

Last week I had a photo session in York, Maine. My mom and kids came with me. She took them to a playground while I did the session then when I was done we all went to York's Wild Kingdom. It was FUN!
We started out with the zoo part since it closes earlier than the amusement part.
The butterfly place was awesome! I've never been in a place like that. M&J really weren't interested but I wanted to take photos!

My little monkey...

I'm not a fan of snakes but I don't want to show that fear to the kids. I bravely went up with them and they both pet the snake with no fear whatsoever.

The goats were awesome. Probably my favorite part.

This one wouldn't stop eating my dress! I wanted to take him home! So cute.

Once we got to the amusement part that's when the real fun began for M&J. The entire time we were looking at animals they kept saying "Wanna go on the roller coaster" over and over and over.
The rides are unlimited so on a lot of them they just stayed on for 2 or 3 times.

Once it got to dinner time we went out into York downtown and had dinner at a cute restaurant followed by the messiest ice cream ever.

After that we went back to the park to go on some more rides before going to the car.

They kept asking for the roller coaster which they were too short to ride on alone. My mom and I didn't buy wrist bands to get on the rides so I asked the lady at the gate if she would let me go on with them. She gave me a little attitude but let me go. So the three of us crammed into one car. Jackson was the one who was super excited for it. After the first time around we started to go again. I said "OH! we're going again!" Madison yelled "YEAH!!!" Jackson started to cry.

It's worth the drive up there because the tickets are only 4.75 per kid for unlimited rides (no zoo which is fine because they weren't interested anyway).

That really does look like an awesome place! And after spending $60/kid to take them into Sesame Place last weekend, I can't believe how cheap it is! P.S. Your kids are adorable.
