I had a vision for my christmas card this year (like every year) but I didn't know exactly what it was. I decided to try some shots inside our house. We have hardly have any natural light in our house so I knew I needed to use the external flash. I got a bunch of cute ones and bribes for a cookie after were in full force.

This is how you'll find Maddie most of the time.

Even with bouncing my external flash I was getting a pretty good shadow on the wall. I spent a million hours editing the shadows out.

This is one I didn't edit the shadows out of.

And finally the long awaited and well earned cookie.

That night they slept in our bed. When I went in to move them back to their own beds so WE could sleep in our bed this is how I found them. Yes none of our sheets match. Shut up.

I knew I had gotten a lot of cute pictures to use for the card but I just wasn't jumping up and down about them so I wanted to take more. One day after school I took them to my parents house and it was warm enough to go outside for a while.

I would have loved to use this one for our card but it looks like Jackson had his hand amputated.

Again no hand. I really need to pay more attention to these things while shooting.

After we came in and changed out of their nice clothes they made cookies with Grandpa.




I ended up using one of the photos I got at my parents house for the card.
