More pictures

The Easter egg hunt fun only lasted so long.  It was time for Maddie to get back to the grind stone and rake some leaves for Grandpa to burn.

Easter Egg Hunt

There was a cute Easter egg hunt set up last Saturday at the church where M&J were baptized.  It was a beautiful semi-warm day.

The Easter Bunny came on a fire truck.  M&J weren't too happy about it.

There were little chocolate eggs littered all over a ball field behind the church.  They did a countdown then all the kids went running in the field.  Luckily we were in an area where there weren't any big kids so M&J were able to figure out what they were supposed to do.

"Mommy, Grandpa won't give me any more chocolate!"

Maddie cried when I tried to put her on the bunny's lap but he gave Jackson "five" so he was all cool

Still not happy about the fire truck...
Until they learned that Grandma and Nana would help them jump off it

After mostly everyone had left there were three other kids that knew each other running around.  I told M&J to go run with them and they totally did.  It was so cute to watch them all play together.

He also learned that if he laid on ground that the little girl would come over and pat his stomach.  He did it over and over.  We were all cracking up at  him.

The next series of pictures shows how fast the slide is.  The force made them both fall forward at the bottom

It came with three swings like the one on the left.  Chris ran out that day while we were all sleeping/recovering and bought the baby swings.  I didn't necessarily want to spend the money on them but I don't think they'll be ready for a regular swing this year so we'll get our money's worth.

We haven't gotten to spend too much more time on it due to a lot of rain.  Hopefully tomorrow!
They constantly look out the window and say "slide!"
