Language

The difference in Madison and Jackson's speaking is becoming quite apparent now.  Madison says things like "mama's soccer ball shirt", "Jachan sleeping", and "not a toy" unprovoked along with a massive list of single words that she uses on a regular basis.
She will also repeat absolutely anything you say to her.
Jackson on the other hand has the following list of words that he says unprovoked.  If he's in the mood to repeat what you want him to say (a new word) he will attempt it but it usually doesn't sound much like it.

mickey
chair
apple
good
bye bye
papa
car
truck
kitty
maddie
mama
daddy
toy
baby
cheese
airplane
cookie
cracker
milk
juice
cup
minnie (ninnie...SO cute)
coat
shoe
jump
pat
tweet
meow
cow
hot
eye
foot
I did it!!!!
(probably a few more that I'm forgetting)

I know a lot of my fellow internet mommies out there with kids the same age that have language skills probably even beyond Maddie but I'd love to hear that I shouldn't be worried about Jackson.

I think that is great. My 2 year olds didn't start talking until just recently. cam seems to have taken off...Spencer still struggles. No worries.

Definitely don't be worried about Jackson. Carson is the same way. Our pedi said it's extremely common with boy/girl twins.
